A creamy and flavorful dish combining tender steak, succulent shrimp, and fettuccine, all enveloped in a rich Alfredo sauce with a kick of Cajun spices.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin)
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest.
  3. Prepare the shrimp by adding them to the same skillet and cooking until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
  4. Sauté the garlic in the same skillet with butter until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer.
  5. Create the Alfredo sauce by stirring in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and the sauce becomes creamy.
  6. Combine the cooked fettuccine, sautéed shrimp, and sliced steak in the skillet, tossing everything together to ensure the pasta is coated in the rich sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately, enjoying the delightful aroma that fills the air.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the steak in Cajun seasoning for a few hours before cooking. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness—medium-rare is about 130°F.
