Delightful Blueberry Cinnamon Rolls that combine the comforting flavors of cinnamon with fresh blueberries for a delicious treat.

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Combine dry ingredients: whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Mix wet ingredients: combine milk, melted butter, and egg in another bowl, then add to dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the dough, then add fresh blueberries.
  6. Roll the dough tightly from one edge into a log and slice into even rolls about 1 inch thick.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Mix powdered sugar with milk for icing and drizzle over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

For best results, keep butter cool for flaky texture. You can use frozen blueberries if thawed and drained. Modify the recipe with different fruits or make it dairy-free if desired.
