A delightful breakfast casserole combining fluffy croissants, creamy cheese, and juicy blueberries.

  • 4 croissants, torn into pieces
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Place the torn croissants evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the extracted blueberries on top of the croissant pieces.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
  5. Pour the creamy mixture evenly over the croissants and blueberries, pressing down gently.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center has set.
