  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon in another bowl.
  5. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each.
  7. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. You can freeze the dough before baking for up to three months.
