  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk together the apple cider, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, and eggs until smooth.
  4. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fill the donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool the donuts for a few minutes before carefully removing them from the pan.
  8. Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
