A comforting dish that combines the flavors of pizza and pasta, featuring cheese tortellini in marinara sauce topped with mozzarella and pepperoni.

  • 1 package cheese tortellini
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions; once they’re al dente, drain them well.
  3. Mix the cooked tortellini with the marinara sauce, olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Spread the tortellini mixture in a greased baking dish.
  5. Layer the shredded mozzarella cheese over the pasta.
  6. Arrange the pepperoni slices over the cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Cool slightly, then serve.

Notes

For extra veggies, consider adding sautéed bell peppers or mushrooms when mixing the tortellini.
