Delicious cookies that combine the gooey delight of cream cheese and the warmth of cinnamon rolls.

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Creaming together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Then mix in eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. Mixing together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl. Gradually add this dry mixture to your butter mixture until just combined.
  4. Preparing the cheesecake filling by beating together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Assembling the cookie dough by flattening a portion of it, adding the cheesecake filling in the center, and sealing the dough around it.
  6. Placing the stuffed cookie dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring enough space between each.
  7. Baking in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Cooling the cookies on a wire rack before glazing.
  9. Drizzling a sweet glaze over the warm cookies made from mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
