A delightful dessert that combines the comforting flavors of cinnamon rolls in an easy-to-make poke cake.

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix the yellow cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Poke holes all over the cake with a wooden spoon handle while it’s still warm.
  5. Mix the sweetened condensed milk with cinnamon and pour it over the warm cake.
  6. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  7. Mix the whipped topping, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  8. Spread the mixture over the cooled cake.
  9. Sprinkle with more cinnamon or drizzle with icing if desired.
  10. Slice, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. This cake pairs well with coffee or milk.
