  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Create the creamy mixture by melting butter in a saucepan, stirring in heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Begin layering your sliced potatoes in a baking dish and pour the creamy mixture over them.
  4. Cover everything with your pie crust, sealing the edges and cutting slits for steam.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the crust is golden and potatoes are tender.
  6. Let cool for a few moments before slicing and serving.
