Delightful Funfetti cookies filled with colorful sprinkles and a soft, chewy texture, reminiscent of childhood celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for deliciousness.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set it aside.
  3. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  4. Add vanilla and eggs to the mixture; beat until well combined.
  5. Combine the flour mixture; mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the sprinkles and white chocolate chips if using.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For crispy edges and a softer center, monitor the baking time closely. Cookie dough can be frozen for up to 3 months.
