  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Stir in granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Beat in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until well combined. Stir in chopped pecans.
  4. Spread the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  5. Prepare the topping by mixing shredded coconut, brown sugar, and cream in a saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Spread the coconut-pecan topping over the hot brownies.
  7. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
