Delightfully indulgent Jalapeño Popper Twists with a creamy cheese filling wrapped in flaky puff pastry.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup pickled jalapeños, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry dough on a floured surface until slightly thinner.
  3. Mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chopped jalapeños, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Cut the puff pastry into strips about 1 inch wide.
  5. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at one end of each strip.
  6. Roll the strips up from the filling end and twist slightly.
  7. Arrange the twisted dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Serve with ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
