A luxurious take on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, featuring sweet lobster meat and gooey cheese for an indulgent treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar, Gruyère)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet.
  3. Sprinkle half of the cheese on the bread, then add the lobster meat, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Top with the remaining cheese and the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
  5. Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 more minutes.
  7. Remove from the skillet, let cool slightly, then cut in half and serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, pair with a light salad or a warm bowl of tomato soup. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
