  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken breasts. If they’re too thick, butterfly or gently pound them to an even thickness.
  2. Mix the garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried rosemary, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  3. Rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken breasts.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken breasts.
  5. Cook the chicken for about 4-5 minutes per side or until golden brown.
  6. Add the chicken broth and butter to the skillet, reduce the heat to low.
  7. Cover and let the chicken simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Remove the chicken and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure even thickness of chicken, achieve a nice sear, and let the chicken rest after cooking.
