Deliciously gooey and crunchy Pecan Pie Bars that combine traditional flavors into a shareable dessert.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. Combine the all-purpose flour, softened butter, granulated sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of your prepared pan.
  4. Bake the crust for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
  5. Whisk together the light corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth for the filling.
  6. Stir in chopped pecans and pour over the baked crust.
  7. Bake again for 25-30 minutes until filling is set and golden on top.
  8. Cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to five days.
