Ingredients

  • Puff pastry sheets
  • Burrata cheese
  • Cranberries
  • Sugar
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Egg wash (egg and water mixture)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the rolled pastry into whimsical tree shapes.
  4. Arrange the shaped trees on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Brush the trees with egg wash for a golden finish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Create the cranberry glaze: combine cranberries, sugar, and water in a saucepan and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
  8. Cool the glaze while the trees bake.
  9. Top the baked trees with a dollop of burrata cheese.
  10. Drizzle the cranberry glaze over the burrata-topped trees.
