Delicious stuffed donuts filled with a creamy cheesecake mixture and vibrant strawberry puree, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup strawberry puree
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. Combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Whisk together buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fill the donut pan with the batter and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Let the donuts cool for a few minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. Mix softened cream cheese, strawberry puree, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  8. Fill each cooled donut with the cream cheese filling.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
