Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 thick slices of bread
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Butter, for cooking
  • Powdered sugar or syrup, for serving

Instructions

  1. Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until smooth. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
  2. Spread the cheesecake mixture generously between two slices of bread to form sandwiches. Repeat for the other two slices.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  4. Soak each stuffed sandwich in the egg mixture, coating both sides, and let excess egg drip off.
  5. Cook each sandwich in a skillet with melted butter over medium heat until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Serve warm with powdered sugar or syrup.

Notes

Use thick slices of bread for best texture. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
