Delicious sweet bites of dough fried until golden brown and rolled in cinnamon sugar, reminiscent of fairground treats.

Instructions

  1. Mix the dry ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Whisk the wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients gradually. Mix until just combined.
  4. Heat the oil: In a frying pan, heat oil over medium heat until hot.
  5. Drop the dough: Use a small cookie scoop to drop dough into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Drain the donut bites on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  7. Coat in cinnamon sugar: Roll the warm bites in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
