Delightful quesadillas blending cinnamon-coated apples with cream cheese and cheddar, wrapped in golden tortillas.

Ingredients

  • 2 flour tortillas
  • 1 apple, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Butter, for cooking

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apple filling by mixing sliced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Spread cream cheese on one side of each tortilla.
  3. Layer the apple mixture and sprinkle with cheddar cheese on one tortilla.
  4. Assemble the quesadilla by topping with the second tortilla, cream cheese side down.
  5. Cook in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Slice into wedges and serve warm.

Notes

Pair with maple syrup or yogurt for added creaminess. Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
