Crispy air fryer chicken tenders that are quick to make and healthier than traditional fried chicken.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Gather three bowls: place flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and mix breadcrumbs with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in the third.
  3. Dredge each chicken tender in flour, ensuring it’s fully coated, then dip in beaten eggs, letting excess drip off.
  4. Coat the chicken tenders with the seasoned breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to ensure they stick.
  5. Arrange the breaded chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray for extra crunch.
  7. Cook the tenders in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!

Notes

To make clean-up easier, line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. For a gluten-free option, substitute flour and breadcrumbs with almond flour and gluten-free breadcrumbs.
