A classic breakfast staple that combines toasted bagels with cream cheese, lox, and fresh toppings.

Ingredients

  • 2 Bagels
  • 4 oz Lox (smoked salmon)
  • 4 tbsp Cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp Capers
  • 1/4 Red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tomato, sliced
  • Fresh dill (optional)

Instructions

  1. Toast the bagels until golden brown.
  2. Spread a generous layer of cream cheese on each half of the bagel.
  3. Layer the lox generously on top of the cream cheese.
  4. Add capers, sliced red onion, and tomatoes on top of the lox.
  5. Garnish with fresh dill, if desired.
  6. Serve immediately while everything is fresh.

Notes

Experiment with different bagel types or add avocado for a richer version.
