A nostalgic dessert featuring creamy layers of pudding, ripe bananas, and crunchy vanilla wafers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 carton whipped topping
  • 34 ripe bananas
  • 1 box vanilla wafers

Instructions

  1. Mix pudding base: In a large bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth.
  2. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, combining all the flavors until well integrated.
  3. Fold in the whipped topping, ensuring that everything is well combined and the mixture is light and airy.
  4. Slice your ripe bananas into thin rounds so they can mingle perfectly in the layers.
  5. Layer vanilla wafers, followed by a layer of sliced bananas and then a generous portion of the pudding mixture in a trifle dish or individual cups.
  6. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding on top.
  7. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Best enjoyed within 3 days. Use ripe bananas with a few brown spots for the best sweetness.
