A crispy and flavorful dish with tender cauliflower florets, coated in a spiced batter and served with a creamy, zingy dipping sauce.

  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Mix together the flour, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a smooth batter.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, coating evenly, then roll in panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Place the coated florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. Mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice to create the Bang Bang sauce.
  6. Serve the baked cauliflower warm alongside the Bang Bang sauce for dipping.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free flour and panko breadcrumbs. Broil for extra crunch in the last few minutes.
