Ingredients

Scale
  • 45 pounds beef brisket
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika

  4. Place the brisket in a roasting pan and pour the beef broth around it.
  5. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil.
  6. Cook in the oven for about 3-4 hours or until the brisket is tender.
  7. Remove the foil and brush the brisket with your favorite BBQ sauce, then cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  8. Let the brisket rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing.
  9. Slice the brisket against the grain and serve.

Notes

For best results, let the brisket rest before slicing and consider pairing with coleslaw or baked beans.
