Delightful layers of pound cake, vanilla pudding, and mixed berries create a refreshing and colorful berry trifle, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 pound pound cake, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups vanilla pudding
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Layer the Pound Cake: In your trifle dish or individual glasses, layer half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom.
  2. Spread the Vanilla Pudding: Add a layer of half of the vanilla pudding over the cake.
  3. Add the Mixed Berries: Sprinkle half of the mixed berries on top of the pudding.
  4. Repeat the Layers: Repeat the layers with the remaining pound cake, pudding, and berries.
  5. Top with Whipped Cream: Top this creation with whipped cream generously.
  6. Chill and Serve: Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Use fresh, seasonal berries for the best flavor. This dessert can be made a day in advance but save the whipped cream until serving.
