These blackened shrimp tacos are quick, full of bold flavors, and perfect for a casual weeknight dinner or lively gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons blackening seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Toss the shrimp in a bowl with blackening seasoning until evenly coated.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the shrimp in the pan, 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked through and blackened.
  4. Warm tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing shrimp on tortillas and topping with cabbage, avocado, and salsa.
  6. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
