Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the sugar until fully incorporated, then add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet batter, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the blueberries gently.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a greased baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack and dust with powdered sugar.
