A delightful and comforting homemade Blueberry Pie filled with sweet blueberries and hints of cinnamon.

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the fresh blueberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  3. Pour the blueberry mixture into the prepared pie crust, distributing the berries evenly.
  4. Cover the filling with another layer of pie crust, cutting slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  6. Allow your pie to cool at room temperature before serving.

Notes

For a sweeter pie, adjust sugar to taste. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an indulgent treat.
