A delicious breakfast pizza made with eggs, cheese, and savory meats on a crispy crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza crust
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup cooked breakfast sausage or bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza crust on a floured surface and transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  3. Sauté the diced bell peppers and onions in a little olive oil until softened.
  4. Sprinkle the cooked sausage or bacon over the crust, followed by the sautéed vegetables.
  5. Crack the eggs over the pizza, spacing them out evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the entire pizza.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the eggs are set.
  9. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve.

Notes

Crust alternatives: Use store-bought pizza dough or pre-made flatbread for a quick option. Mix mozzarella and cheddar for a rich cheese blend. Experiment with vegetables and herbs.
