A refreshing bruschetta recipe topped with ripe tomatoes, fresh basil, and garlic, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 Baguette or Italian bread
  • 4 ripe Tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into half-inch slices and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Toast the bread in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden.
  4. Prepare the tomato mixture by chopping the tomatoes and basil, then mixing them with minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Assemble the bruschetta by spooning the tomato mixture onto the toasted bread and serve immediately.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Pair with Sauvignon Blanc or lemonade.
