A cozy dish combining the spicy kick of Buffalo wings with creamy mac and cheese, perfect for gatherings or a comforting dinner.

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute until bubbly and slightly golden.
  3. Add the milk gradually, whisking until smooth. Stir in the buffalo wing sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the shredded chicken and cooked macaroni to the sauce, mixing well.
  5. Stir in the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until melted and creamy.
  6. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Feel free to add cooked broccoli or jalapeños for extra flavor. You can also use rotisserie chicken for ease.
