A versatile and delicious Bundt cake that is perfect for any occasion, with a moist texture and rich flavors.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with buttermilk, starting and ending with dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Serve as is, dusted with powdered sugar, drizzled with a glaze, or topped with whipped cream and fresh fruits. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
