A delightful dessert combining rich cream cheese and tart blueberries with an easy-to-make dump cake method.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 box classic yellow or white cake mix
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the cream cheese until smooth, then mix in 1/2 cup sugar and 1 egg.
  3. Spread the blueberries in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the blueberries.
  5. Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Melt the butter and pour it evenly over the cake mix.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with whipped cream or ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
