Fluffy waffles stuffed with creamy cheesecake and fresh strawberries, perfect for brunch or a special breakfast treat.

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Strawberry syrup for drizzling
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Beat the eggs lightly in another bowl, then add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract, blending until combined.
  4. Combine the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Prepare the cream cheese filling by combining softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in a small bowl, and beat until smooth.
  6. Pour a portion of the waffle batter into the preheated waffle maker, add cream cheese filling and sliced strawberries, then top with more batter.
  7. Cook until golden brown and crisp, about 4-5 minutes.
  8. Serve immediately with strawberry syrup and dusting of powdered sugar.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat in the toaster.
