A comforting dish featuring tender ground beef and crisp broccoli in a creamy cheese sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream (or milk)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or pasta (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Sauté the ground beef: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, stirring occasionally to ensure it cooks evenly. Once browned, drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the broccoli: Add the broccoli florets to the skillet. Sauté for about 5 minutes, letting them soften slightly while retaining some crunch.
  3. Mix in cream and spices: Stir in the cream (or milk) along with the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  4. Melt the cheese: Add the shredded cheddar cheese to the skillet, stirring until melted and creamy.
  5. Serve and enjoy: Serve your cheesy ground beef and broccoli over cooked rice or pasta, if desired.

Notes
