A delightful chicken salad wrapped in flaky croissants, perfect for picnics and casual lunches.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red grapes, halved
  • 1/4 cup almonds, slivered
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 croissants
  • Lettuce leaves

Instructions

  1. Combine the diced chicken, mayonnaise, yogurt, celery, grapes, almonds, and Dijon mustard in a large bowl.
  2. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Prepare the croissants by slicing them in half and layering with fresh lettuce leaves.
  4. Spoon the chicken salad mixture onto the croissants and close them.
  5. Serve immediately to enjoy the delightful creation.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but can store leftover chicken salad for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
