Fluffy chocolate chip pancakes perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Cooking spray or oil for the skillet

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Combine the milk, egg, and melted butter in another bowl.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and coat it with cooking spray or oil.
  6. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
  7. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  8. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  9. Serve your warm pancakes with syrup, whipped cream, or toppings of your choice.

Notes

Leftover pancakes can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
