Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

  • Maple syrup, for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and grease it lightly.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
  6. Flip the pancakes when bubbles appear; cook until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm, drizzled with maple syrup.
