  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Grease four ramekins with butter and dust with flour.
  3. Melt the butter and chocolate chips together in a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Whisk together the eggs, egg yolks, and sugar until thick and pale.
  5. Stir the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture until combined.
  6. Add the flour, vanilla extract, and salt to the batter.
  7. Divide the batter among the prepared ramekins.
  8. Bake for 12-14 minutes until the edges are firm and the center remains soft.
  9. Let cool for 1 minute before inverting onto serving plates.
