Delicious and easy-to-make Christmas Oreo Truffles, perfect for holiday gatherings or gifting.

Ingredients

  • 28.6 oz Oreo cookies (2 packages (14.3 oz each))
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips (or melting chocolate)
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips (or melting chocolate)
  • To taste sprinkles or crushed candy canes (for decoration, optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies in a mixing bowl until fine crumbs remain.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese to the crushed Oreo cookies and mix until well combined.
  3. Using your hands, form small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) from the mixture.
  4. Place the cookie sheet in the refrigerator for about 60 minutes to allow the truffles to firm up.
  5. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted white chocolate.
  7. Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle holiday decorations over the truffles.
  8. Repeat the dipping process with the semi-sweet chocolate chips for half of the truffles, if desired.
  9. Allow the chocolate coating to set completely.
  10. Once set, serve the truffles on a platter or package them as holiday gifts.

Notes

Make sure your cream cheese is fully softened for easy mixing. For a different flavor, try dark chocolate melts instead of semi-sweet.
