Delicious smash burgers with a crispy exterior and juicy interior, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 4 Burger buns
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Cheese (optional)
  • Lettuce (optional)
  • Tomato (optional)
  • Onion (optional)
  • Condiments (ketchup, mustard, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Form the ground beef into loose balls, about 4 ounces each.
  3. Place the meatballs on the skillet and press them down flat with a spatula.
  4. Sprinkle the patties with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook the patties for 2-3 minutes until browned on one side, then flip and add cheese if desired.
  6. Toast the burger buns on the skillet for about a minute until golden.
  7. Layer your burgers with toppings and condiments.
  8. Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

Use an 80/20 blend of beef for the juiciest results. Don’t overwork the beef to keep burgers tender.
