A rich and creamy dairy-free coconut chocolate mousse that captures the essence of tropical paradise.

Ingredients

  • 1 can full-fat coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Shredded coconut for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill the coconut milk overnight or for at least 8 hours.
  2. Scoop out the coconut cream, leaving the liquid behind.
  3. Combine the coconut cream with cocoa powder, maple syrup (or honey), vanilla, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  4. Whip the mixture for 3-4 minutes until fluffy.
  5. Adjust sweetness if needed.
  6. Divide the mousse into serving bowls and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Garnish with shredded coconut before serving.

Notes

For best results, use full-fat coconut milk and adjust sweetness according to preference.
