A delicious side dish combining green beans with crispy bacon and a sweet, sticky glaze. Perfect for any gathering!

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 6 strips thick-cut bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and trim the fresh green beans, removing the tough ends.
  3. Combine melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
  4. Place trimmed green beans in a 9×13 inch baking dish and sprinkle bacon on top.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the green beans and bacon, then gently toss to coat.
  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crunch, use thick-cut bacon. You can substitute butter with olive oil for a healthier version.
