A rich and creamy corn dish made with butter, honey, and cream cheese that evokes nostalgia and is ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups frozen sweet corn (thawed or fresh/canned)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (or to taste)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (finely chopped)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the honey and stir until they are well combined.
  2. Add the corn to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes, or until the corn is tender and heated through.
  3. Reduce the heat to low. Add the softened cream cheese, heavy cream, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir continuously until the cream cheese has completely melted and a smooth, creamy sauce forms.
  4. Stir in the fresh parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh corn for a sweeter flavor and experiment with different cheeses for varied textures.
