A rich and comforting pasta bake with shrimp and crab enveloped in creamy Alfredo sauce, topped with melted cheese and crunchy breadcrumbs.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Sauté the garlic in olive oil over medium heat until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, then gently fold in the crab meat.
  5. Combine heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the cream mixture and fold in the shrimp and crab.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  8. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and breadcrumbs on top.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with a green salad and chilled white wine for a perfect meal.
