A comforting dish combining creamy ravioli with seared steak and rich flavors of tomato and garlic.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of ravioli (fillings of your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound of steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Parmesan cheese for garnish
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the ravioli according to package instructions. Once they’re tender and ready, drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the steak in a skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat, seasoning it generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Add more oil if needed and sauté the mushrooms and cherry tomatoes until they soften.
  4. Add the heavy cream, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning to the skillet, stirring until combined.
  5. Combine the cooked ravioli with the sauce, tossing gently to coat.
  6. Slice the rested steak and serve over the creamy ravioli, garnished with Parmesan cheese and basil.
