A comforting dish of crispy fried chicken seasoned with salt and pepper, perfect for sharing with loved ones.

  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and cracked black pepper.
  2. Create a breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs.
  3. Dredge each piece of chicken in flour, then dip into eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the coated chicken breasts to the skillet and fry for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Remove the chicken and drain on paper towels to eliminate excess oil.
  7. Serve the crispy chicken hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

For a healthier option, you can bake the chicken at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes instead of frying.
