A comforting slow-cooked dish featuring tender cube steaks in a savory gravy, perfect for busy home cooks.

Ingredients

  • 4 cube steaks
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup mushroom soup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Season the cube steaks with a generous sprinkle of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Place the sliced onions in the bottom of the Crock Pot.
  3. Lay the seasoned cube steaks on top of the onions.
  4. Whisk together the beef broth, mushroom soup, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour this mixture over the steaks.
  5. Cover the Crock Pot and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Serve the steak with the gravy drizzled over rice or creamy mashed potatoes.
