Ingredients

  • Cuban bread or French bread
  • Butter
  • Garlic, minced
  • Smoked ham, sliced
  • Swiss cheese, sliced
  • Fresh herbs (like cilantro or parsley), chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix softened butter with minced garlic in a small bowl.
  3. Slice the bread in half lengthwise and spread garlic butter on both sides.
  4. Layer the sliced ham and Swiss cheese on the bottom half of the bread.
  5. Sprinkle chopped fresh herbs over the cheese.
  6. Place the top half of the bread back on and wrap the sandwich in aluminum foil.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
